Okay everyone, it's a whole new post! Below is the itinerary we've put together for Nashville. Please don't feel you must follow this. Guidelines only people, guidelines. :)
We'd just like to say thank you so much, for making the trip to Nashville to help us celebrate Jay and I getting married. It means so much to us that you will all be there. And really... we just can't wait to friggin see everyone!
Our cousin Michael said to go to http://www.nashvillescene.com. It's a free online local magazine that has all the to do's and what's goings ons. (? that does not look right) Anyway, check it out and keep up on what's happening in Nashville and around there.
The wonderful people at Gaylords have recommended www.visitmusiccity.com as a way to learn about the music and places to hear that music. They've said to check out Tootsies, Legends and the Wildhorse Saloon (where the downtown bus picks up and drops off) as some of the best places Nashville can toss at you to have a good drink and a good time.
The Gaylord Opryland Hotel is kind of the Mother hotel of the Radisson at Opryland (where we are staying). There is a free shuttle from our hotel to Gaylord. I recommend it. Gaylord is a city inside a hotel. Bars, restaurants, some kind of wildlife sanctuary... or something. :) Seriously, it's a really cool place, and if you don't feel like going downtown, head on over to Opryland, you won't be disappointed.
So for Friday, please don't feel you have to stay the full two hours. Swing by and have a drink with us, share some dynamite food, and then if you want, head on out down Broadway and check out the clubs. So many great singers and interesting joints to check out. But if you want to hang out with us for longer than a drink, we'd love it. :) Also, it's gonna be warm people, so jeans, shorts whatever is what you wear. If you wear a suit and tie, we'll steal your tie. :)
FOR THE WEDDING. It's gonna be warm, so a suit, or getting uber dressed up, is only going to make you sweaty and uncomfortable. It's going to be an outdoor wedding. Jackets and ties are optional. Yes, the wedding party will be in jackets and ties. But I'm pretty sure those will be chucked before long. So feel free to go tie-less. Ladies, no need to go all out, unless you want to. We want everyone to be comfortable.
We can't wait to see all of you! We're so excited. Less than a month to go. Mom and Dad have worked so hard to make everything so special for Jay and I, and we can never thank them enough. If you have a good time, it's thanks to them and all of their hard work. Please make sure to let them know how wonderful they are for creating such a wonderful wedding week and weekend.

Friday, September 7, 2012 – 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Meet the Bride and Groom at Big River Grille and Brewing Works, 111 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201 (615) 251-4677.
You can drive and park downtown or you can take the bus from the Radisson for $20 per person round trip or $30 per person for three days of round trip to downtown. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but would be cheaper with two or more people. If you want to visit the joints on Broadway, taking the bus home is a safe alternative.
Saturday, September 8, 2012 – 8:30 AM –Golf at Gaylord Springs (a Links Style Championship Golf Course) for those who want to play. Course bus will depart the Radisson at 7:30 AM - three (3) tee times have been booked. If you have not already let the father of the bride know for certain, please RSVP golf to billsheehan@embarqmail.com no later than August 16 if you are interested in playing so that foursome Groupings and any additional tee times can be organized.
Saturday, September 8, 2012 – 5:00 PM Jason Golding/Jessica Sheehan wedding at Spring Haven Mansion, 545 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075 (615) 823-9702.
There is limited parking at the venue, so we have rented a bus to get everyone there and back safely and efficiently. We are asking that if you do not need to have your car, that you ride the bus with the rest of the clan. They are friendly and usually don't bite unless provoked... so no provoking, k? :)
There will be a chartered bus leaving the Radisson at 4:15 PM going to wedding and returning to the Radisson at 9:30 PM after the reception. If you want to continue to party after the reception, there are a few neat places within walking distance of the hotel.
If you feel that you just cannot live without your car, please let us know and we will see what we can do. You will need to put the address of– Old Hickory Credit Union, 543 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075 into your GPS – It is on the SW corner of Carrington Place which you take to the entrance to the mansion.
